8 week immersive deep dive into the art, science and philosophy of well being

Art of Nourish is an eight-week virtual workshop designed to empower you with the knowledge of how to nourish your body, mind, and soul. Sustainable whole-being wellness starts with the knowledge of how the body functions on a physical, chemical, and biological level and how food, mindset, and behaviour create balance or dis-ease; knowledge is empowerment!
This is not just another nutrition workshop; Art of Nourish blends pioneering nutritional & mindset research, with traditional wisdom and practical lifestyle tools, to help you draft your personal health blueprint. You will not finish the workshop with a new diet, exercise plan, or a magic prescription for your health problems; not because I couldn’t, but because it doesn’t work! I carefully designed the curriculum to demystify the foundational processes most relevant to health and includes the knowledge, resources, and practices to support you to take your health into your own hands! As we progress from week to week, the topics shift from the functional and biological aspects of food and health to deeper emotional and psychological components. 
Through exploring and placing balanced attention to all domains of life; physical, mental, nutritional, environmental, social, emotional, and spiritual, your highest potential of wellbeing is possible. My mission is to provide a comprehensive, practical guide to health and offer a supportive container to ground the knowledge in. The workshop is informed by my 10 years of study and practice, learning from and guiding women around the world to transform their relationship with food, body, and self and towards optimal health and balance. It was born out of frustration with the overly confusing and inaccurate nutritional and lifestyle 'advice' overwhelming and wreaking havoc on women's mental and physical health. It is designed to meet you where you are on your health journey and the understanding and support gleaned from the workshop will allow you to take back control of your health! 
Feeling at peace in our mind, body, and soul is much simpler than we are told to think, and this workshop will show you how! 

Curriculum

  • why it's not just what you eat, but when and how you eat. Nutrient deficiencies and symptomatology, nutrition bandits vs heroes, the science of cravings, blood sugar regulation and how to balance it, root causes of acid reflux, IBS or digestive disorders, gut microbiota and its ability to shift our mood, hormones, energy levels. Movement and lifestyle changes to reduce bloating and improve digestion.

  • whole body + organ detoxification, how to gently detox every day, the connection between immune health and inflammation, xenoestrogens and tools to detox your home/beauty routine and the importance of sleep in rejuvenation

  • optimizing your cycle, optimizing sexual health and libido, how to use your cycle as your greatest ally, exercising and eating for different parts of your cycle, gut and hormone connection, estrogen dominance, managing PMS and tools for easing into menopause

  • how to optimize your thyroid and adrenal functioning, how to increase your energy levels, why stress management is key, blood sugar connection to weight gain and how to balance it, why dieting and restriction may be causing weight gain

  • Neurotransmitter health and optimisation, how stress and gut dysbiosis are impacting health, happiness, brain performance and weight, and how to use food, lifestyle practices to manage and optimise this cornerstone of health

  • chemical and functional mechanism involved in creating or replacing a behaviour or belief system, tools for uncovering subconscious belief systems and frameworks that keep you stuck in unhelpful patterns of behaviour and thoughts that may have been programmed and reinforced from childhood, society or self

  • neurobiology of emotional eating, the difference between emotional and physical hunger, learn how to navigate the cycle of unconscious or emotional eating or ‘self-sabotaging behaviours through identifying your ‘kryptonite’ foods and social/environment triggers. Tools for emotional and mental well-being, setting boundaries, and creating an optimum healthy environment (social, physical, energetic) will be explored

  • this final week we will bring it all together to give you the tools to create your own health blueprint. We will discuss what is the best ‘diet-direction’ for you (not the same thing as diet!). Other topics covered in this week will be sleep and circadian rhythm, intentional movement and fitness, ‘habit stacking’ vs ‘habit bundling’, and tools for mindful eating, self-care and learning how to connect to your inner compass

    • 8 weekly (1- hour) zoom calls with 10 - 12 other students of the course

    • Art of Nourish book ($60 value!) to accompany each module with an outline of what we discuss to ground learning and for future reference

    • Daily accountability and a supportive community

    • Video and audio recording of each lecture and discussion

    • 1:1 call with me to identify your goals, intentions and briefly discuss any health concerns you may have

    • Individualised support throughout the program; the number of participants is limited to ensure individual guidance and help build a close community of support

    • Private Community: exclusively for workshop participants, where you can connect with echoer, share recipes, and get additional support from me.

    • Participants will have access to a free support call that meets each month over zoom. This call is intended to nurture accountability, celebration, and continued support
